 Happy Earth Day! -NAJWA A2-

Remember, we don't inherit the planet from our parents, we borrow it from our children

Our Earth! It's the only home we have!

 Remember! 3R!

We came all this way to explore the Moon, and the most important thing is that we   discovered the Earth.

Living on Earth is expensive, but it does include a free trip around the sun every year

Just as a reminder: That we exist at all is rarity. Every living thing here is part of this fine cosmic gem.

So,enjoy your Earth Day!peace! >.<

EVERYDAY is EARTH DAY

Happy Earth Day Everyone! If you think that I’m going to talk about “please recycle the bottles, papers and aluminum to save our delicate planet”. You are wrong! I am here going to share 5 coolest ways that we can practice to save our Mother Nature that we all love!

1. Gardening. It can shade your house, give cooling effect to your house and it can also improve the value of your property. Make it meaningful for the whole family and plant any types of plants like herbaceous plants, flowering plants or even vegetables together with you family members. By doing this activity with your family, the relationship between each members of the family can be strengthened too.

2. Give it away. Before you throw something away, think about if someone else might need it. You can donate items like unused cloths or reference books to a charitable organization. It is surely a very great action to take! Besides doing charity, you can also save the nature.

3. Bring your own grocery bags. It’s so easy to do, just keep the bags in your car and bring along when you go for shopping. Moreover, the reusable bags are stronger and available in lots of beautiful patterns while plastic bags are not biodegradable and can take many years to decompose.

4. Instead of buying bottled water, buy a water tumbler. Bros or Tupperware makes great eco-friendly ones! Nearly 90% of plastic water bottles are not recycled, instead taking thousands of years to decompose, buy a reusable container and fill it with water. It must be a great choice for the environment, your wallet and possibly your health.

5. Share the info just the way I do now. Take what you've learned and pass the knowledge on to others. If every person you know could take one small step toward being greener, the result could be phenomenal! You can share them through your twitter, facebook, tumblr or keek.

We all have the power to make great changes. The earth is such a precious thing. We should realise that we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children. So let’s conserve our Mother Nature together!

11 facts about EARTH DAY !

  • The first Earth Day was celebrated on April 22, 1970.
  • Earth Day originated in the US but became recognized worldwide by 1990.
  • On Earth Day 2009, Disney released a documentary film called Earth that followed the migration paths of four animal families.
  • On the very first Earth Day, 20 million people gathered in the streets of America to protest the industrial revolution. An environmental movement was born as a result.
  • Every year on April 22, men, women, and children collect garbage, plant trees, clean up coral reefs, show movies, sign petitions, and plan for a better future for our planet.
  • Gaylord Nelson founded Earth Day while he was working as a US senator.
  • Earth Day was renamed officially by the UN in 2009 as International Mother Earth Day.
  • Some schools and communities celebrate Earth Day for a whole week to expand the time frame that people focus on the earth and how they can preserve it.

Earth Day is a wonderful time to stop and appreciate our global home and the amazing gifts that Mother Nature has given us. When we are rushing from school drop off, running off to do errands, and just maintaining our day-to-day, it’s -sadly- quite easy to forget to take a moment (or two) to take stock, pay tribute or give back to the earth.
Here, is the quote that i love the most :  “I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.” — Henry David Thoreau

IF ANIMALS CAN ONLY SPEAK...

Frankly, GOOD PLANET IS HARD TO FIND. So don't just blow it up. What if animals can only speak? They would just say one word which is WE.HATE.HUMANS! Let's go through with the following conversations recorded by myself literally done by the animals IF ONLY THEY CAN SPEAK like us, humans...

One of the fishes said like this...
"Hey, stop making us fishballs, will ya?? blup, blup, blup..."

When hunters came in the dessert...
Giraffe   : BEWARE of the hunters !!
Elephants : Damn human...

When ships began to round up a group of orca whales...
Orca 1 : Woah, everybody swim away, SAVE YOUR LIFE !! The hunters are coming for our flesh !
Orca 2 : Hey you guys, I'm floating in the air to get the freedom of whales...I hate you humans !

A scene of a Nemo's family...
Father  : Nemo my son, you'll never get married...
Son     : Oh, but why dad...?
Father  : Because you'll die early due to POLLUTION ...
Son     : OH NO ... !!

That's what they will say about us, the humans...nothing positive at all, indeed. My point is that, not only pollution created by humans can kill the animals, but also our cruel actions of killing them for our own sake for instance their fleshes, skins, and even their fins! This was literally mean as we endangered the ecosystem and causes extinction :( Don't we love the animals? Yes, we do, indeed, right?

Oh before I end up typing, this was the last conversation left...to prove that we humans, are actually shaping other creatures to the evilness via our irresponsible acts...what a sorrow :(

There are 2 little kittens, Popo and Lolo beating their own younger brother named Limomo...
DUSH DUSH DUSH ... !!!
Popo : Learn from the master ... HAHAHA (evil laughs)
Limomo : Ouch (moaning in pain) ... who's your master ... ? Ouch ouch...
Lolo : HUMAN BEING !! HAHAHA (evil laughs)

Just for reflection :)
Thanks for lending your eyes reading my not-so-catchy article here,
but I hope we won't be the 'HUMAN' in any of the stories stated before in the future :)

LOVE THE ANIMALS <3
here, some adorable pictures for you :)

In conjunction with the earth day, I’m going to share with you a few tips on how to keep our earth as a better place.
  •          Firstly, reuse your drinking bottle. Avoid buying bottled water. In fact, reuse everything at least once, especially plastics.
  •          Next, turn off the lights and electrical appliances when you leave the room. Unplug your cell phone charger from the wall when not using it. Turn off energy strips and surge protectors when not in use (especially overnight).
  •          You can also recycle your newspapers.
  •          Take public transport, or carpool or you can also ride a bike to reduce the air pollution.
  •          Buy products that use recyclable materials whenever possible.
  •          Last but not least, bring your own bags to the grocery store.

Together, we can do a lot to save our earth. We don’t need a superhero, we can be one! and remember that, we do not inherit the earth from our ancestors, we borrow it from our children. :)

5 ways to reduce pollution (muhammad tarmizi b hasan A1)

5  ways to reduce pollution
a)     Bring your own bag when you go  shopping. Many  stores sell cloth bags, or you can just recycle ones that you already have. You can buy a cloth bag online if you like, here. They are very long lasting, and hold as much as the paper or plastic ones do. Besides plastic bag is non biodegradable. It takes millions years to decompose. This can lead to soil pollution
b)     Increase your awareness of electricity use. Turn off appliances and lights when they are not in use. Be particularly aware of cable boxes, video boxes; and to a lower levels of TVs and DVD players. They consume almost as much energy off as they do when they are on. Anytime an appliance is off and there is a light, or clock going (like on a microwave) . Just unplug it when not in use, or better yet put it on a power strip with an on/off switch. You'll save energy, and cut down on the air pollution .
c)    ) Eat less meat. The energy required to produce 1 calorie of beef is 18 TIMES more than that required to make a calorie of wheat. It is mindboggling; however, if we examine the water required to produce a pound of beef, it is just over 5200 gallons. The water pollution is one problem that is out of control when it comes to the meat industry. Every meal that replace meat with vegetables, beans or soy protein, and grains makes a significant dent in the overall environmental picture.
d)    5) Buy locally. Locally grown food travels at most a couple of hundred miles, and is usually picked the day before, if not the day of, delivery. In contrast, the average piece of produce found on your grocer's counter has traveled 1500 miles! In addition, it often need some refrigeration and packaging to survive the 4 - 7 days it takes before it gets there. And it's not just produce that is made locally; many things you can get at the big box is either being made locally, or in those cases where they aren't, they can often be purchased second hand. A lot of pollution can be avoided by just buying locally whenever possible.
e)    Plant a tree. Start a garden! Planting a shade tree can significantly impact heating bills once it reaches maturity. Planting a garden is a joyful activity that cuts down on the energy needed to get vegetables to your table. If you don't have the room for a garden, you can always grow sprouts in your house or apartment. They are one of the most nutritious and easy to grow foods ever, containing not only essential vitamins and minerals, but also life supporting qualities not readily found in other foods.

simplest way to save the environment

Assalamualaikum w.b.t to dear readers. In conjunction of the earth day, let us together think for a second. Think about what can we do to reduce the amount of pollution that currently increasing and keep on increasing until now. It is not necessary to think hardly to save the environment. Keep it local as we can a lot of things around us which can help us to save the environment. These are examples of what you can do to save the environment.

1.  Sell off or post an ad for freemetal scrap to be recycled

2. Use reclaimed wood for your next project at home.

3. Recycle your shipping styrofoam or reuse it.

4.Save that box and make somePizza box art, or maybe just recycle it

5.Old books can be sold on Amazon, donated to thrift stores, donated to schools, and to hospitals. There's always the yard sale option, too.

6. Don't forget all types of glass bottles can be recycled -- wine bottles, jelly jars, colored glass... these are all accepted at most recycling facilities.

7.Wrapping paper is just paper and has many ways to be reused or recycled.

8. The rumor has been floating around that aluminum can't be recycled. While the rules may differ per town, you can still reuse it a few times by giving it a cleaning.

9.Flip flops can be recycled and repurposed a number of creative and unique ways.

10.Tools are very valuable items on eBay. Try selling them in lots to save time, shipping waste, and energy.

As simple as ABC. Try to search on  awesome recycled items. Maybe you can do it for your own and put it on your house. It is not that difficult to save the environment. You can use your own creativity to recycle things around your home. Practicing 3R (reduce, reuse, recycle) is the simplest way to reduce wastage that would cause pollution and yet keep our surrounding clean and tidy. What are you waiting for? Think out of the box and start your work now!
